Hello,
All of you professionals please advice,
For the last couple of months I’m interested and actively educating myself in the “transferring technologies’, some of the information I got is misleading or inaccurate, and I’m puzzled.
I’m looking for a transfer paper (soft, very soft feel) that I will be able to print on, later to heat press on 100% cotton and get only the image without the frame avoiding the process of cutting edges, can I achieve that? Or do I need to use a cutting machine.
Printing on garment directly is too expensive. I know that in Israel I was able to get that king of transfers but the variety is limited. This transfer paper (in Israel) looks regular but the color is covered with white layer, any ideas what king of transfer it is? And how to create it?
Initially I thought that sublimation is what I was looking for but some people say it’s only to be used on >65% polyester, but I see that some manufactures declare that their pepper can be used on 100% cotton, is that true?
I’m willing to buy the right machinery but which one?

Ironall paper will give you the minimum window/frame, but no cotton digital transfer will achieve that (i.e. you'd need to get plastisol transfers or use dye sub).

Some people are right.

Somewhat. Recently a manufacturer (Sawgrass is the only one I've heard of so far) announced some success with dye sublimation on 100% cotton. However the inks are more expensive and it only works on white. My personal opinion is that it's a token offering at best.
