My son is a part of a little league team who bears the name of a MLB team. I was going to make them jackets with the teams name on it...ie "Giants, or Cardinals"...do you think there is a problem with this on copyright since I am using my business suppliers for my tshirt shop?

Not if they supply you with the artwork. The little league has all the artwork.

Problem is getting it from them.

Sorry, was not clear....it's not art work it's just the name "Yankees" as in New York Yankees...same colors and everything. Just the word though....as I understand the organization has that licensed.

Yes, you should only have to get the imprint/design/fonts from the Little League. They probably sell them too. Then you could add the names or any other text yourself.

Majestic sells them too. However, if you don't buy thousands you have to buy them through someone else.
