So a Marine buddy gives me some remnant rugs from his shop. I said Thanks and Yea I can do a couple of shirts for him in return. So couple of shirts is like 7-10. Didn't count them yet. Just vinyl so no biggie till he gave me what he wants on the back. (see attachment.)

Now to me this is just way to busy and all over the place. But I'm no marketing expert like many of you so was hoping someone might take a few and help me decide how to un-clutter it, if it does need to be.

Whatever I came up with I planed to do in one color but if in cutting it down two color would work better open to that to.

Thanks for the advice and help

unfortionaltly a deal is a deal looks like lots of weeding, but i wouldnt change it with out his permission, plus no good deed is left undone, im always bartering, and feeling the same way you do, but look at it this way its good marketing, and it helps get your name out their
I had told him when I saw the print out that it was alot and I was gonna try to clean it up. He had no problems with that.
His van is 50x worse. Just so much on it and this that I find it hard to see a focal point. But like I said I have no marketing degree.

Thanks
Gheez; I guess whats he want a walking billboard ? and you say the van is a lot busyier... I think he needs to be pointed in another direction...

Yep thats what I am trying to do.
My rule on bartering: if someone wants to trade something, I give that something a dollar value.

"Oh, these mugs would get you about $30 in printing trade."

Then, when they send artwork, I quote it as a retail job. They're welcome to pay the difference, or modify their request.

Mark,

My suggestion is to include only the info that's legible without zooming in and any additional that's not stated in the bold name, like 'dryer vent cleaning' and 'water removal'. And include the phone number. All that other stuff is overkill.
If you can't screen print it, I'd take out everything that is not his business name and phone number. Maybe leave one tag line that's most important to him.

This, +1. your knife will tear up more of the tiny text than is worth it and it won't last long at that size ... keep it simple. his back is not a static website. people don't read all that garbage ... they want to know who you are wearing a shirt for and what number to call or website to go to.
