Do not use a roller to apply the pretreatment. It is one of the worst methods to use as well as being very expensive for you in the amount of pretreatment it gobbles up. An automatic pretreater is the best way of applying pretreatment. If you have a limited budget you can start with a hand power sprayer. The one recommended is the Wagner Control Spray Double Duty. That should make an enormous difference in your print quality. But definitely ditch the roller method.

Pretreatment is as important as any aspect of the DTG process no matter what machine that you have. This isn't talked much about for what ever reason.

Good pretreament layer = good opaque white ink passes. (Especially on Eagles designs. GO EAGLES!!!!! ;))

Thanks for the answer guys, so with a pretreatment machine I definitely solve the problem? Can you recommend me a good machine for the pretreatment under 4000 euros? Which pretreatment liquid do you recommend? Thank you!

Don't know about euros but I like the Speed Treater sold and manufactured by Equipment Zone.

There are a handful on the market that I am sure you could check out on You Tube.

Epson pretreatment works best for me with a nod going to Image Armor also.
