Try doing a nozzle check with the platen all the way up in the 0 position and see if this helps.
Make sure that you do an alignment check also. Very simple to do. Alignment is the same for the F2000 and the F2100.

Usually most prints are done in the #2 position so if this works do the rest of your nozzle checks afterwards at the #2 height position and you should be good. I highly doubt that there is anything wrong with your printer. Judging by the 5 post count that you have I would guess you are a noob (which isn't a bad thing, duh!
