Hi...I am just starting out and on a real tight budget considering all of the equipment and supplies I need right now. Thought that I was decided on the transpro 15x15 based on the price and the fact that it's a US Company which offers great warranties and support. The machine is backordered until at least Sept 30! Is the Sunie press really the same press as I was told? The Sunie is not backordered to my knowledge and I really need to get some samples made soon! Thanks.

To my knowledge the Sunie is a good press. Because it is backorderd may tell you that many people think the same. Patience is a vertue. You will not regreat it in the end.

Sunie is manufactured in China..that I know but what I heard from others is that the proworld press (transpro) is actually a Sunie press but with minor changes made to improve it. Proworld then sells it and they actually offer a 5 year warranty on it where as from sunie they only offer 2 years. That's what I heard..not sure if it is true or not. Proworld has the transpro on back order so I was just considering going to Sunie and getting theirs. I have hear mixed things about the press but I am just starting out and will not be doing a massive business anytime soon so I am thinking this may work.
Selenac...I too am from NJ and did not realize that proworld was here...I will have to check that out.

80 East,

I bought a used Hot Tronics I think, and it works great. We have Knight, a 15 x 15 cheapy, and Hot Tronix/Stahls and the Hot tronix works the best.

I took some old tranfers that I pressed some cheapies with, and pressed them on the Hot Tronix. The t-shirts done on the HT's came out awesome, and were some much easier to apply and remove. I couldn't believe it.

I believe I saw some used presses in the Classified Section of this forum.

Both the same press. ProWorld private labels the Sunie. From what I understand, ProWorld replaces the elements making it more reliable than the Sunie.

It may be worth the wait, getting the ProWorld model.
There have been problems with the Sunie and getting needed parts/repair.
Stick w/ProWorld, you will be better off in long term;)

Thanks for the kind words. Just to clarify, our TransPro is not manufactured by Sunie.
