Hey guys,

I'm looking to find the authentic Basic Training ARMY tees used by our military (Olive drab or heather). Not one of those cheap rip offs printed on a hanes, not that there's anything wrong with hanes.

I'm actually trying to see what brand of tee the originals are printed on because they're so so light and paper thin soft. More so than AA and others . . . .

Let me know if you guys have any insite to this

Thanks,
Josh

Re: Authentic ARMY tee . . . ?

Have you tried the army colored tees from alternative apparel. Man, they are supersoft and light. I got one from the Red Cross last year and I'm hooked:

I'm not sure what brand the Army uses, but if you look in your local phonebook for an "Army Navy Surplus Store", you'll probably be able to find a shop with some. They carry all types of stuff like that.

Actually, I just did a quick google, and found this:

OOOOH my goodness . I had to use the flash light to snoop in the hubby's closet to find his Army Tee's (he's asleep) . . LOL*~ . . .
The grey Army issued Tee is distributed by "Soffe Shirt" -- Made in USA, Fayetteville, NC
-- 50% Trevira Polyester --- 35% Cotton -- 15% Rayon ---
Now on the Army issued brown PT t-shirts they are tagless
