Basically the question i want to ask is asda have started doing alot of character t-shirts what i am wanting to try and find out is for example this t-shirt here 'Haven't Got A Scooby' T-Shirt | Tops | ASDA direct

How do they come up with there ideas do you think they employ a team of designers who come up with these ideas or do they approach the factorys they buy from and ask them to come up with ideas and what sort of print is that what is on the t-shirt can anybody help?

yes they employ a team of desginers or they use a desgin house or they use a printer that will desgin with them to produce the print , i pretty sure the print is screen printed. The chances are its mass produced overseas india, bangledesh,turkey,china .....but there are still a bunch of good quality printers who offer a good quick service out of the uk ...usually Leicester area .

There are still a few in Leicester, mostly exported since the Chinese were allowed in.
