Aprons and teflon finish

The 100% cotton aprons all say that they have a teflon finish. I have not tried any yet but am curious if there are issues with the DTG ink adhering to the teflon finish? Anyone have experience with aprons?

Any finish that is applied to fabric to prevent stains from sticking will generally also prevent the water based ink, used in all digital direct to garment printers, from adhering properly. You may be able to dry the ink once it's printed but chances are you will have poor to no washability of the print.

So, has anyone found a 100% cotton apron that does not have a stain resistant treatment?

Pretty much all of the major t-shirt distributors carry 100% cotton aprons in natural color without any finish. Example: alphashirt.com; broderbros.com; bodekandrhodes.com.

Has anyone found 100% cotton aprons w/o teflon finish in white? I have been searching forever.
