Has anyone set up the square marketplace? I believe that's what it's called, for online selling, kinda like having a website? I use square 99% of the time on my phone. But recently actually opened up their website and saw the square marketplace. But I didn't feel like I had a good idea of what it really was or how it works. So anyone here using it and have thoughts on it?

I've seen it but refrained from using it. It looks like a good idea for those that don't have a website and cannot or don't know how to build one. Not sure how much traffic it gets either but it looks professional, which is half the battle.

If you're looking for a professional ecommerce store I'd definitely take a peak at squarespace.com

Yes..... I use square.... works great..... if you swipe a card they take 2% ..... if you just type in the card number over the phone they take 3% plus 15 cents. You can apply online and they will even send you a free swiper.

I agree..... it is perfect for people that do not have a website or just starting out.

I use the square for processing my credit cards. But it looks like they have an online presence as well now. I have a website up but don't have it geared towards my shirts just yet and don't really have it set up for ecommerce, more just informational, so thought this might be a good way to get the ecommerce aspect of it set up.
