I met a friend recently who has years of experience as the CEO of a large clothing retailer here to chew his brain for some ideas about my business.

He was saying that to get your clothing into most large retailers, you need to use buyers agents. They take a cut of the profits, and negotiate the deal with the retailer on your behalf.

Has anyone used a buyers agent? Good or bad responses?

I'm just thinking about how to take that next step and get from markets/shows into shops.
