Hi,

Ok - new motherboard in PC - new processors = new software required.

Had to install windows 10 as most of the USB ports on the new boards need the drivers bundled with windows 10 to work.

i.e. windows 7 just didn't detect any of the USB devices being hooked up.

Now though - no Neoflex port detected in NeoRip.

The computer can see the printer, and the USB port it is on but nothing in the Neorip.

Ive seen some threads about the patch, but nothing about where to download it!!

AA don't open for another couple of hours, and I was hoping to get this sorted by doing the patch - but so far no definitive solution, and it sounds like you may end up having to pay for support from Tigers if you call up anyway!

If anyone has a link, file or download - it would be very much appreciated.

Running the original NeoFlex 1 - with some of the earliest NeoRip software - which was working fine on windows 7.

Thank you

Do your USB ports detects other devices ?
Also - what kind of USB ports do you have on board ? Is it USB 2.0(black port) or 3.0 (blue port) ?
If its a USB3.0 (blue port ) - most likely you'll need to instal a driver in order for it to work.

I would try to install a driver for Epson 4880.
This one for Windows 10 32bit:
https://ftp.epson.com/drivers/epson17599.exe

or this one for Windows 10 64bit:
https://ftp.epson.com/drivers/epson17600.exe

Hi,

Yes, thank you for this, but we have already done it.

This is why the PC can "see" the printer, but it fails to see it in NeoRip.

I think I may have the "definitive" answer on why no thread exists with a solution with a link or dropbox download.

Tigers need to contact the manufacturer of NeoRip (and the Dongle) who then code a patch to your specific Dongle.

It costs $270 USD and you get an email with the link to follow for the new software for the dongle.

I had to provide my Dongle code which is written on the back of the Dongle.

Hence, it looks like it is a specific bit of software written for each individual on a case by case basis, which is why there is no universal link available.

Well, that and the $270 you need to pay as well.

Hopefully this will speed up the resolution of anyone esle in the same situation after upgrading to Windows 10 etc.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a used computer with Win 7 ?
You can find dissent laptop for about 100$ on eBay...
