There is a syringe kit that you can get from Brother or even make one for that matter... You attach it to the print head like you would with the ink tubes in the machine. Then with light pressure proceed to push the CMYK cleaning solution through the head and hopefully freeing up any clogs. This would be a last chance effort prior to buying a new print head.

Just wonder if anyone has had any luck reclaiming an old clogged up print head on the Gt541. If you have what did you do? I just feel there's got to be a last ditch effort before buying a new one.
Hi there! So, what happened with your machine? Im from Argentina and Im willing to buy one! Could you tell me about your experience? Any clogs problems? Would you recommend the machine? Would you say anything bad about it?

Thanks in advance!

We have 2 machines: a 541 and a GT3 381. Both have worked well but we use them every day. Thats seems to be a key as problems usually start when they sit idle. You must shake the white cartridges every day, clean the white tubes when indicated, daily white cleaning or agitation depending on your usage. Do a daily nozzle check to find out if any problems exist as soon as possible. Keep the machine clean and follow the maintenance procedures and you should be fine.
