Im using a uscutter laser pro and i cant do simple contour cuts because i dont have any registration marks and i dont know how to add them in inkscape. if any can help it wouldbe greatly appreciated

why not just draw your own? circle with a cross hair should be pretty easy to do. place them where ever you need them.

You may need to find out what type of marks it reads.
The "crop marks" cut studio adds for my Roland cutter are just solid circles (see attached)

These are printed on the sheet with the image
Then are read when doing the contour cut later.
