any recommendations for a good dye sub starter kit that includes blanks?

Just about to jump into the dye sub realm deeper (already do tees) and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a good starter kit with sublimatable blanks. I am looking for posssibly the "all in one" if possible. Is there a company that has mugs, stainless steel bottles, dog tags, license plates, mousepads, plaques, clocks, etc. all in one package maybe just one of each? If not would anyone know of a kit that comes close? I want to try and build my portfolio and have pics for my website too of all the available options.

Re: Starter Kit

Not sure if it was a special or what but when I bought my Gx-7000 I got some products to try out. I got mine from Conde back in Aug 09.

One thing with just getting one of each tho is you probably won't get the colors right on the first try and might not be happy with the outcome. And what a good red will be on one substrate might not be as vibrant or look red on another substrate.
Its recommended that your print out the color chart on each substrate so you can color match.

Good luck

A good starter kit is important and you should be able to get special pricing.

Here is an article I wrote for this years Sublimation Almanac and indeed that is one of my tips.

Maynemag, did you find any License Plate Suppliers? I could use a couple suppliers if you can pass some on.

Re: Starter Kit

For license plates you can get the Unisub from any supplier selling Unisub such as Conde or Johnson Plastics or a dozen others. Laser Reproductions also sells their own coated license plates Quality Dye Sublimation License Plates. Call LRi Today! .
I think I'll check with Beacon. I would prefer to just use Vinyl if I can. If not, then I'll try dye sub, but it seems like too much work.

Even though we do Pad Printing, and Screen Printing, we stil would like to add dye sub or maybe get back into DTG.

Have to love this business!
Here's a great video about starter kits:

Hope it helps!
