Maybe a silly question but thought I would ask ...
Question suited for AnaJet mp5i or mp10i printer
I keep hearing and reading of people having issues with their white ink but also others saying they have zero issues. I tend to believe much has to do with the temp, humidity, maintenance, product and of course usage of the machine from what I am reading.
I have yet to use my machine, just bought, sitting there while I take care of school before having the summer to fully utilize it. (No ink loaded in it yet, still from factory waiting on me)
--------------
My question is this:
If you were having issues and getting frustrated could you just clean the system and only load the CMYK colors and NO white ink into the machine and print that way? Of course you would print on white shirts and not select in the RIP anything that deals with white ink.
1. Will the machine run the same way without white ink cartridges in there?
2. Should you have empty cartridges instead in the white ink slots, meaning so dust or anything doesn't get in there over time?
3. Will the empty white ink lines get messed up if the system is being used with only the CMYK ... sorry don't really know how the machine works internally so just asking to check.
4. Lets say you loaded a design with white in it, would the machine just try but of course not put down white ink and in theory the design would just be missing that portion of the actual art on the shirt?
Anything you can think of to answer, help, guide, discourage or inform on this subject would be great .. looking for anything of interest or knowledge that can be shared.
Thanks
