Keshk, when you changed the board the first time, was the problem fixed only to return later? When the "system initializing" text is on the pannel, have you removed all print jobs from the queue?
Do you think it is a coincidence that the 2 new main board are deffected
Or it may be data cable or the printhead
Did you ever clear the Queue? This is a common issue with new users. On the 125, if there is a print job in the spooler after a quit or printing error, you'll get this exact problem. It will stay there even after a reboot, crash or power outage. Let us know what you figure out.
The pc does not feel the printer
this only happens to me when I cancel a job mid print.
check the print queue.
Flip the switch in the back, turn the power back on and then unplug and reconnect the usb cable to initialize connection with your pc.

this is how I get around that issue on my machine.
You don't understand me the printer says system initialize and does not continue after power on the machine
do you have a dedicated port or is it a shared usb port?
You may have some conflicts going on.

KeshK,
If there is any document in the queue, when you reboot the printer (even after restarting computer) that document will cause the PF125 to not initialize(showing exactly what you describe). If you do not see any documents, uninstall the printer in the printer folder and re-install the latest Anajet driver from their website. Do not use the Sprint driver and make sure you follow all directions to configure the printer to the proper USB port. While you are at it, make sure you are on the latest service pack and that you have up to date USB drivers and you cable is less than 15 feet. Also, if you are on a network, make sure the printer in not set to "share"

I am afraid you may have a mainboard problem
Does anyone know if the mainboard on the Anajet FP-125 is the identical board from the Epson R1800? Can I replace the board on my FP-125 with a board from an Epson R1800? Did Anajet make any changes to the board from what's in the R1800?
as far as i know, except for the AnaJet specific boards, all other boards are OEM.
It's almost stock. They solder on an additional wire with a connect, but outside of that, it's the same.

Did you ever get this fixed? I'm having this same problem I'm stuck
Hi

Turn off Anajet.

If you use Windows go to:

Devices and Printers, Anajet Printer ( double klik on icon ),

then check is there any documents in queue if yes cancel all.

Turn on printer and push power button to initialization.

Should help.

Hi darek342 that's a good point, but that is the first thing that gets checked, I still feel that its more of a hardware problem, and as always clean encoder strip, making sure its dry when done, also remove the chip holder and clean the contacts, and the chips, it can't hurt and may help. just do that with a dry cleaning swab.

Ken-
Ken,

R the 6 lights under the cover on that strip permanently on. Mine r and they said my main board was blown. Send it in pay $600 in shipping $1500.-$2500 and wait for two months.,this is after I sent it in last summer and they had it for three months.
I don't have the lights, but it kind of a dusty room could be causing some problems
