I was wondering which American apparel shirt (2001 and Poly-cotton short sleeve crew neck) From these which one will last longer (which will endure the most washes and retain color without fading) and which one is the most comfortable....

I can tell you that I love my 2001 shirts and I wash and dry them constantly and they hold up really well. The blacks don't fade too much.
That said, the cotton/poly is still soft and will fade even less.
You really can't go wrong with either one.
