Hi guys, hope you're all well. I've been using Laser Dark (No-Cut) - FOREVER Transfer Paper transfers for pressing on to t shirts and hoodies etc for a while now and just wondered if anyone was aware of any alternatives to Forever that gives similar results on dark garments and at a lower price?
Thanks in advance.

There is another company that sells the same paper but it's called Digital HeatFX Laser EZ Peel, the only way you can get a discount on it though is to pay $200 for their Papers Savers Club Membership, and then the price is $369 for 100 11x17". Not sure if you use this size paper or not, but I believe it's the only size they sell. Here is the link if you are interested:

Has anyone tried the Paropy TrimFree for Darks paper? On the surface it appears very similar to the Forever. (I've regularly used their Trimfree light but had never tried the dark).

Am actually awaiting a sample right now - was hoping it'd have arrived today.

The Shockline doesn't have the mylar "A" sheet, but a paper. it is way easier to marry to the "B', and cools much faster on the garment before the second press. Much easier to remove the Shockline from the tee.
Both stages are at 285F. I did the same full page design, rastered, on both mediums. Very similar, and neither stretched. Both had the same "papery feel", but Shockline was thinner to the touch. I haven't finished my trials yet, for the washing etc. I put both designs on the same t shirt. I'll report when I have more

I got sample from Joto. It is made by another German company like Modern Transcopy Freestyle. Was not able to weed it. I said that because the A sheet had one corner clipped like Freestyle had. I also sampled Freestyle. Was not able to weed it either.

So why did the maker said it is elastic. Can you please post the vendor's name in Alberta and link?

I believe Joto is the exclusive distributor for USA of Modern Copy,
They use to have a mylar sheet with there dark.
I wonder if Shockline is the same paper
I paid for some samples a few weeks ago but haven,t received them yet.

If the design was not filled in, as mine was, I believe there would be some stretch. I plan on doing some testing.
The supplier is in Alberta:

That is the actual artwork. Did you rasterize with Rip before you put it on the shirt? Curious how it looks rasterized. Thank you.

Still working on it. Trying two ways.. its going on coal grey So I'm working on using micro, and also with the dark media and by playing with decreasing the amount of dark color being removed. I have discovered, that I went too far with the raster and design was left on the glue sheet, so I am needing to backtrack. It works on the Forever sheets though at the same settings. I will try one more setting, at 80, and then resort to the micro.

Okay... so I had a miserable failure but I did come out of it somewhat smarter.
For me, I prefer to use RIP , I am a Corel person, I cannot get the same results, on the same settings, using the Shockline and the Forever. I can't speak to the results one would get if printing directly out of PS, though.
I was only using a 4% micro mask, and I felt that the Shockline was pixelated and somewhat grainy, so my project was done with the Forever Dark. I spent a whole day and a lot of money on R&D, really got no where. I don't print to the OKI straight out of Corel.
