Hey Joe, how's Maryland? :D

There's definitely something fishy about this, ask about paypal or payment up front and you'll get a definitive yes or no if it's a scam. If you wanna string them along see how specific you can get with order, color, sizes, fabric, shirt cut, ect...
String him along? you're not busy over there?

Just tell him you only accept wire transfers for payment. Then get back to work doing things that are going to actually make you money. :)

We get these daily. It is just part of doing business online. While it sounds "fun" to mess with them...your just wasting your time more so then theirs.

Oh my...We get these all the time and I hate to admit but I do string them along a little. I tell them I have to have the name of their company and web address, their ship to address for the order. Usually they respond to that. When I get their business name and ship to address I google it. Then I call whatever business are at the address and ask them if they are aware that a company named ...is shipping 3000 tees to their address? Of course we laugh as the Business receiving the items has NO CLUE! A few year ago, one of my sales girls fell for one of these scams and we ended up eating over 8000 in commission and sending in 23 pages of correspondence to the FBI. Be careful T-Shirt Forum Friends. If it sounds to good to be true, but you have red lights going up like, incorrect grammar, not enough detail...and you are truly salivating over an order, LET IT GO!

Definitely a scam. Whenever you get a large order of just a couple sizes, it's not legitimate. We get these at least a couple times a month. If you have Google Analytics, you can go do a little work to see where they are from. Most likely some other country you don't have customers in.

If it's in our slower time, I string them along and end up calling the card issuer to report them. If it's in our busy time I either quote an outrageous price, like $75,000+ or just ignore and delete the email. Depends on how the day is going...
