Hi, im having problems printing the underbase, its looks grays instead of white and i just saw that the plastic tubes have some air between the ink and that the ink is going up everytime i stop using the machine so the other day i pull up a white bottle and the ink started to go down, any fix for this? the white is always coming gray when using for underbase

First you want to make sure you are getting a perfect nozzle check every day before printing. You want to make sure that your agitating your white ink on a daily basis as well. This will help with your white ink from separating. Another reason why your white ink could look grey is not putting enough pretreatment.

As for the white ink pulling back in the lines what you can do is raise up the white bottle a bit more or fill up your white ink bottle more then your colored ink. White ink is denser then the color so it helps having the height of the bottle up a bit more then the color.

Are your white cartridges fully primed (filled with ink)? If so and your not seeing white ink in the capping then it is a possibility your white channels are clogged on the print head. Best way to find out is to print a nozzle check. How are you printing the nozzle check? From any specific software or the adjustment program?

I had a small issue while back where the white ink was back flowing towards the bottles and it would oddly pull or suck the ink from the capping station line back up into the white cartridge.

Was frustrating because it would print grey and I couldn't figure it out till i pulled out the cartridges and noticed the white was greyish.

Fixed it by changing the bottle heights like Billy suggested in his post above. To high though and you will get ink bleeding out during print.
