Do you want to work for free (or at a loss)???
If not, then be firm. "Custom colors are $XX per color match."
You won't get anywhere in this business (or in life) if you let other people dictate terms to you.
Do you want to work for free (or at a loss)???...The customer doesn't want to pay more...
Really?.....I figure the best way to grow your business and not piss folks off and let them go elsewhere.....Any sale requires a meeting of the minds.....If you have something in mind that you client does not agree with, then no sale....You won't get anywhere in this business (or in life) if you let other people dictate terms to you.
Just make sure you read the fine print on all custom mixing. This I found interesting on the link you provided above;I just did a quote last week involving matching Pantone colors, I found pints and quarts available here International Coatings but I have not used there pantone matching service before.
They are. They also have other brands but I think those are for the water based.I've read that Ryonet plastisols are International Coatings also.
