Could someone who has used these answer a couple of questions for me? After 3 years in the rhinestone business, I think I finally need a wand for a job.
I remember reading about them on this forum and now I can't find what I read, so a couple of questions...

I think I mostly remember that Kandi Cane seemed to be the wand of choice. Is this right?

I thought there was a professional wand for around $100, but looking around online today, all I'm finding is one around $25. Is this good enough?

Is the one at Hobby Lobby for around $25 going to do a professional job -- meaning the rhinestones will stick as well as they do from the heat press with washings, etc.?

Thank you so much! Of course, as usual, I'm running behind on this job where I realize that I need a wand to complete it. :)

Glitz up is okay for small jobs..where one or two or so is needed and on some objects that can't be heat pressed. I was in discussion with the manufacturer from EU a few years ago and tried one out and then backed out... for adults okay, but the end get as hot as a soldering iron...so you have to be careful of that and also make sure just the rhinestone touches the substrate..I believe it comes with a couple tips and a stand to rest it on when on using..At the time I was looking at it, the price was $99...so $49 seems okay

I agree with charles, they are great, for smaller jobs or putting a few stones on but they are priceless for doing shoes, heels, and caps and hats,, well worth the 20 some dollars you spend at hobby lobby with the coupon.

I have one on hand for the just in case or oops,,
