Advice on my pricing for this job...

I'm just starting to print for clients for money and I need a little advice on pricing for one of my first paying gigs... Customer wants 2 quotes to compare a multi-color job with a one-color job.

Customer already has the shirts (blue) and the artwork.

She wants 24 shirts, 4 color front, 1 color back.

Front colors: blue, red, yellow, white
Back color: white

My thoughts on prices:

Quote #1:
4-Color Front/1-Color Back (x24): $456 out the door ($19/each)
1-Color Front/1-Color Back (x24): $240 out the door ($10/each)

Includes set-up, etc.

Am I too high?

Printing @ home on a manual press w/ a flash dryer.
I would be at $14.00 and that would include me supplying the shirts, Gildan 2000's.
For the 4-color? Or the 1-color?
Ok thanks, so maybe around $10 if the customer supplies the shirts?
If that cost works for you then it is perfect.
I would be at $16.07 for printing (no shirt) and that counts 4 color front, 1 color back, and 2 flashes.

I would be at $7.56 for printing (no shirt) and that counts 1 color front, 1 color back, and 2 flashes.
Thanks, that's closer to what I was thinking. I was thinking I was charging too much.
Ok, I'm thinking $16/each for 4-color and $8.50/each for the one color. More reasonable?
Im sure by now you have already submitted your quote but don't worry about being high. It can often times be better to not get a job than getting one at a low bid. Low balling is how people go out of business.

Yep, that's what I've come to realize. I did submit my quote and unfortunately they decided not to print shirts so I didn't get the job. Oh well! I've gotten a couple others since.
