I was just viewing the AdvancedArtist site and noticed they knocked the price down on the Power Training videos to $79.99 claiming "It's Tom's Birthday Sale" and the price was supposed to be like that for this week.

I was trying to hold out until Christmas time hoping to receive it as a present, but decided to just go and place the order at that price today. Just thought I'd toss it out here since Tom probably can't self promote it. It seemed like a good deal to me and I hope it's as good as everyone says it is, his free videos taught me some new things, so here's to a new investment

Well, mine arrived in the mail today. Packaging was a bit disappointing, I saw the dvd cases and stuff on the website, but I just got 2 dvds in slimline jewel cases, the dvd's themselves are Memorex printable dvd's, my experience with Memorex in general is bleh, think the last good memorex product I had was a cassette tape. But I didn't buy it for the packaging and it was a lot better deal than he's been running ($120 being the norm).

Will let you know how the actual training is, since that's what I paid for. I have a feeling it will be good based on what I've heard and the tutorials I've seen on his site, but I'm a bit of an ADDHD person, so we'll see how well it keeps my attention. I will most likely watch them before I go to sleep at night, as this is the best time for me to watch videos

P.S. AS you saw, I bought it earlier this week, so delivery time was good.

Hi Mrs. Bacon And Joe:
I did buy this Training Bundle for $120.00, and I did ask for slimline cases because of freight charges as I'm located in Panama. I can tell to both of you that this training it's worth every pennie. Before I was doing all my designs in Photoshop, and I was not oriented to any vector programs, but after I take the training, I was doing and creating real vector designs in no time, not only this but also learning how to work with Corel Photopaint altoguether with Corel Draw, is a kind of learning two differents programs at the same time and the relationship between them. I have to say this, I have bought several training dvd's, and advanced artists training is the best of all of them because one thing is to know a program for yourself, but teaching it is a different ball game, and to me Tom have the ability to teach us in a very simple way how the programs works. I have spoke a couple of times with Tom and it looks to me he really have a finality in helping people to get what they want, to be happy when using this products.

Can you give a review on this product??

We used Advanced Artisit's power training and it has changed our art department. After implementing the training our art department became much faster and production art work errors were almost eliminated. This training has paid for itself and it continues to save us time and money. It's great when you only have to burn screens once, even when dealing with very detailed logos as we print alot of racing designs. I would take advantage of the sale!

Haven't gotten to watch as much of the tutorials as I had hoped, I need to update Xbox Media Center at my home so I can play the flv files). Otherwise I'd have posted more on the topic. I did watch some of the tutorial on tracing the car. Picked up a few ideas for when I'm doing design proofs/agreements for window decals on customer's vehicles. Before I just had a black box (represented their window) and my art, now I've got some shine in there

Maybe I'll try and pick a subject I have minimal experience on and watch an hour or two today.

i use this to watch flv and dvds on my laptop pretty good very light compared to windows and other heavy programs. try it out let me know what you think. it's free too.

This training is hands down the best out there! It takes you from just drawing a line to some of the most advanced stuff out there. Tom is a real guy and keeps things simple. I keep looking for the next set of training that he will be putting on the market!

We bought the Power Training several months ago when it was on sale another time. It is really great training. We have learned a lot of really helpful and time saving tips. The training is very good and definitely worth the money!!!
