Hey guys I am thinking of upgrading to Corel X7, but just curious if all of advanced t-shirts plugins will work... I bought their big package last fall so I have them all..

Simple seps
Simple seps raster
Simple seps over print
Design base
Fashion factory

I know they are working on simple seps 4 and that it will be compatible with Corel X7, but what about everything else...

I use them quite a bit so if they won't work I may hold off on upgrading..

Anyone with any info would be awesome thanks.

We are still working on the updates. X7 has allot of bugs and changes to the point where we had to just about rewrite all the applications.

As side note do not go the X7 route there are serious issues in spot colors. That may change with X7.1.

It's pretty bad really... if you have say a pantone design you had back in X4 or X5 and bring it into X7 and save it. All the tints are turned to solid colors. In fact if you just copy and paste it all the tints are turned to solid color.

We are getting close but we keep running to issues between our code and X7s new GUI system. We are moving as fast as we can believe me.

Hi Jeron,

That is one of the things we are working on. We developing a universal updater that will just update all that stuff automatically via a download and installation application by verifying current installations. Might be a small fee for that as it took some time to build and I am sure some people will need support for the process. But nothing big or like having to buy everything all over again.

Design Base will just be updated on the site when it is ready.

When it is ready it will work with X5, X3 and X4 are questionable at the moment.

I downloaded Corel7 when it came out but haven't installed it yet. have they gotten a fix for all the problems yet. I don't want to install it till I know it works.

Hi Jim,

Honestly I have not tested 7.1 much yet. To busy trying to get the upgrades out and working on some new toys at the same time. I know in 7.0 if you saved a legacy file with spot color tints is just turned all tints to solid colors. That was I uninstalled it.

After we get things wrapped up I will take a look at it again.
