Hey everyone,
I was finally approved by my credit union to purchase a existing business that I have been looking at for over a year now. During my research time I have also been mostly a reader on this forum. I did want to send a big thank out to all the contributors on this website you guys have such passion for this industry and have kept me in the pursuit of funding. No that I will actually become a member of the industry I will probably post a bit more here. lol Anyways I'm sure there are s few of you that bought an existing screen printing business. Have you got any tips for me? I'm goping to be coming from a completely diffrent back ground however I have a great sales background and also a little bit of working in my parents shop when I was younger (like 11 or 12 lol)
I just wanted to express my excitement!!

That sales background is definitely a plus (as long as you don't come off like a salesman...LOL!)

And remember, you're in business to make money and there's nothing wrong with that. But it's important to be about building and maintaining relationships.

Hey thanks for the responce. I definitely do not come off as a sales person.....I know just what you mean. I'm excited and can not wait to get everything going. The business is already up and running. It has been around for about 10 years and has only two employees plus the owner working there now. I really can't wait to get things rolling!!!
