I installed a RIHAC CIS on my Canon IP4300 about 4 weeks ago. Took about an hour all up. No problems on installation and works perfectly. The colours are virtually indistinguishable from the original Canon cartridges. I've into photography so am particular about the colours. The Rihac unit is one of the more expensive units, but thought it was worth it in the long run rather than one of the cheaper Chinese systems. The unit cost $155 (I also bought new chips) and a full set of inks (100ml each tank) is only about $50.
Highly recommended. Rihac are in Melb. RIHAC Digital Solutions. PM me if you want more info.
Hi Baldilocks, the deafening silence after my first post prompted me to searching the net and found I them about a week ago!
Glad to know the RIHAC CIS system is easy to set up. I ordered a R290 which I will try with Epson ink first off. If it works out I will stick with carts for a while, if not will change it to CIS. I don't mind the price if the ink is good. I think most T-shirt buyers want their T to still look good after 8 to 10 washes so the extra cost of the ink is warranted if that can be achieved.
Thanks for filling me in. Cheers
