Ok just processed my first screen with the new refill system. It worked perfect and was very easy to install. I dumped all of the color ink into a bucket and mixed it and then poured it in to the bottle of black ink. Took me probably 10 mins to do the complete change over. From what I can tell there is about 25-30 fills from these 4 black bottles of ink.

I am using accurip and the "all black" setting... the film was completely dark and had zero problems washing out. Here are the links to the setup I purchased for a crazy $30 total.

So with these, when you put more ink in it resets it and registers as being full? I see they have the Auto Reset Chips. Just wondering if it messes with the levels and warning you of when it's low.

Otherwise, an awesome way to do this! Going to save me 125 bucks, so I don't have to order the all black cartridges from Ryonet. Thanks for sharing!

I use the same system. the ink level is not accurate. once the level drops to empty it resets itself. you have to look at the cart to physically see the level. it is possible to have a full cart but it says the level is low, or vice versa.

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life, but I finally got around to trying these out and the film is not nearly dark enough... I mixed all the colors together with a bottle of black ink and the film is definitely not opaque enough... Anybody else have any issues?

Also you might need to print a little to get the black ink through the cartridge.

I turned the ink up to More Ink and it still isn't very opaque. I've run a few films through it to see if it will finally start to lay down thick enough, but I think it's the ink that isn't black enough.

I got one to wash out. It took a little more effort than usual to get it to wash out completely, though. I am wondering if it needs to have pure black ink in the cartridges. I mixed all the colors together with the black and put it back in the cartridges.
