a lot of extra ink and splotching ruining transfer paper

Hello all,

I am having issues with my epson 1430. whenever i print on 13 x 19 texprint transfer papers. I have had some success but lately I have had a lot of what i call splotches mainly on o n the right side of the paper. I have recently wasted 50% of my transfer papers due to this problem.

If I print smaller on on the 13x19 paper (like 11x14) then i usually get a good print but if I print 12x18 then i get the splotches like crazy... I think the computer is trying to talk to me a computer language its so much.

The equipment I am using:
epson 1430
CISS system from inkjetcarts
texprint epson transfer papers

I have taken out the cartridges and cleaned the area where the cartridges rests and I even changed the cartridges. I have done many head cleanings and the test prints look fine.

I transfer photos onto aluminum.
