85 Mesh screen. How much detail can you use for this screen type.

I have a 85 mesh screen. I know you use this when you have little detail and need to use a lot of ink. Well how much detail is to little? I want to put at least my logo on the screen to advertise that I did this design. It will be very small, though larger than 72 font type.

The only time I've gone below a 110 is for glitter.
If I am reading this correctly, your small letters are 1/4" and other parts are thin.

It's your logo and you want to look good. I personally would use a 230 mesh for the best detail.
What Ink anr you using? I have printed that small with a 85 screen, although its not the best practice. Why dont you use a higher mesh?
I only going to be using this screen for and easy one color job for a friend and have no other 110 screen to use. I have a simple design I will be using w/ a lot of ink going through the mesh. I guess I can use my heat transfer paper to print my logo. I never thought about that. I will be using black ink.
You could increase squeegee pressure and hope lesser inks passes through but using the correct mesh to start with would be best.
Thanks with the advice. I found a few in town screen supplies stores, so I can buy more screens for less than almost nohing and do not have to shipped. Plus any other silk screen supplies.

I don't see why not use the 85,,, it is still safe to burn with. I have also used 80 for some of my white underbases. I've also used 40 with just a flower outline about 7px design for glitters and turns out just fine...:). You just want to spray water with not too much pressure just to make sure that pressure will not destroy the image....

Goodluck.
Thanks I will take all of yalls advice and play around the w/ screen mesh.
Thanks, I took down the web address.
