11"X17" all-in-one Brother printer

I came across this printer & I was wondering if anybody has one for printing transfers. I like the fact that it has a scaner, prints up to 11"X17" & uses only four ink cartriges that are at a reasonable price. Any thoughts before I buy one,

a multiple unit means you can have multiple parts break...and I do not think Brother is a wise choice...period

I have a brother MFC-5440cn and it doesn't do transfers well (basically the ink runs). I washed the shirt with the transfer on it and each time i see more running on various parts of the shirt.

I would suspect this would be the case for that one also. You may want to go to a local office store and try to print something (lik their demo print) on some transfer paper and press it on something and wash it to see if it will do what you want.
