Default Texjet Plus 3880 Black faded out to light grey

Hi
My 3880 based texjet plus has been printing on 50% perfectly for the last 2 years and all of a sudden today black started fading and I did a few small cleans then a few heavy cleans and it wouldn’t return, changed to 100% and it looked ok again for 10 prints but took 8 minutes a shirt.
Then it dropped some magenta so did a clean again and then lost black on 100% to a light grey.
Fitted new maintenance cartridge and did a few heavy cleans and the ink in cart tools very green ?
Any help please, behind on orders and need it running ASAP
Dan

Hello Dan,

Normally Texjet plus uses the 2nd cartridge for printing black. If the ink you have one the first cartridge is fresh, you can swap it with the second and then make a powerful cleaning. This way we can check if the problem is from the cartridge or the ink. It is highly recommended in those cases to change the damper.
