Default Texjet Advance how to do hoodies?

Ive got a Texjet Advance, had for years great machine but only use it for t-shirts. I have the platen with the frame on it that pins the t-shirt down, I got a few other platens with it but never had the training to use them as bought the machine used. Whats the best way to print onto the front of a hooded sweatshirt (hoody with no zip but with pockets/pouch)with pocket and also can you print a breast print ont front of a zipped hoodie?

all help gratefully received

Hello Sir,

this is what we call the frame system. In order to use the other tables you must remove the frame system which has four screws.

You then need the metal bars that come with the tables. those bars are positioned on the tower in different slots ( one of them is always on the front) in order to place the additional tables. Sleeve (15x30cm) had some small metal bars, but the rest of the tables had bigger.

To print on hoodies you its advised to use the mini or the sleeve table depending on the image size. Also its recommended to use unidirectional if you have uneven surfaces.

Which is the country of your residence?

I have the textjet echo, I use the smaller bag pallet and thread the hoodie on sideways.
I do (2) pass image armor pretreat @ 115 speed on my Schultz, and press @70 for 60 sec
I them print the image on the hoodie. Make sure you wrap the hoodie around the base of

the pallet.

Hello keepontruckin,

unidirectional is an option to print with high precision when the surface you print is not flat. What version of the rip software are you using?

Regarding the tables as correctly digiti said you need either the mini table 27x32cm or the sleeve, depending the print dimensions of your image. I am not quite sure if you have all the parts required to use the extra platens for the Plus with the frame system. Please send us pictures of all the parts you have. As we said in previous mail, to use the extra platens you will need except from the tables, the metal bars that come with them.

Will pm you the contact details of our UK distributor in any case.
