Hi Dave

The v7 RIP is now released.
Contact your local TexJet supplier or Polyprint directly and they will supply you with the info you need.

Hi Stephen

Thanks for the reply. How long has this been out? My dealer over here has not been getting back to me so I'm not sure if it was out or not.

Hi Dave,

RIP 7.0 was released on 16/02/2015 and I haven't tried it yet but now I am workin on ver. 6.6.4 so I can update it for free. I didn't do that because I simply don't have time lol

If you have a 6.x version and you didn't update your RIP yet I bet you can upgrade it for free as me (the only condition is that you'll do it in a year since purchasing your original RIP - if I remember correctly).

About Pretreater... I am always currious how do you hit the same place with pretreater and printer? Cause you have to put a shirt on pretreater and then on the table of the printer - am I right?

Hi zerg71

Yeah I'm on v6.6.2 if I remember but I have had the printer for 16 months tho.

Found a company that I may buy the pretreater lll off tho. As they are £750 cheaper than another supplier I got a quote off. As for treating the area you need on the top seems very easy to program in.

As you're working in £ I presume you're in the UK.

Can you share where you found the pre-treater III cheaper (PM is ok if you prefer) as i'm looking to get one very soon

I'm making a video with the new rip, will have soon. I have a video on youtube about the pretreater 3 (I know this thread is old). Pretreater 4 is out now, can do light and dark pretreats without switching jugs out.
