Default Color profiles problem

For those who know Texjet RIP Software, We print darks using "Dark T-shirt 100% white 50% color" profile

PRINT RESULT: Droplr • 50_percent_saturation.JPG

We always have problems with color saturation.

We did the following as an experiment. We printed using the WHITE ONLY profile on a black t-shirt making just the mask. After that we switched to "Bright T-shirts" profile with 50% color, like we would print on white t-shirts.

PRINT RESULT: Droplr • black_tee_printed_with_white_profile_for_the_color s_and_black_profile_for_white_layer.JPG

CONCLUSION?

I think we have a bad color profile for dark t-shirts. Anyone using Texjet and not having this issues with dark tees, i would apprecitate if they could send their profiles.

Thants normal, if you print 50 / 50 on W/C Profile the print will be brighter.
If you print 1x 50 % white and 1 x 50 bright colour you will have an other Print.

I am printing 100% white 50% color on dark tees. First picture attached above

As an experiment, i printed another black t-shirt with only the white mask at 100%. After that i changed the profile to "Bright T-shirt"(like I would print a WHITE T-shirt) using Color at 50%. Picture number 2.

There is a huge difference in prints. In both cases it was used 100% white and 50% color. Just different profiles. First profile was for black tees, and the second was for white tees, using as canvas the white mask.

I need a fix. I need somehow to copy the values from the bright color profile, to dark color profile. It looks so much better when printing black tees using bright profile

I'm having the same trouble - I only came to realise when I printed the same design on my texjet and texjet plus. (The issue is with the texjet plus) which printer are you using?
Have you had a fix yet?

Are you using the same RIP version on both printers? I am using Texjet 2010 but considering upgrading to a few Texjet Plus if the feedback is good.

Yes I'm using the new version of software on both printers - so it's probably not the profiles. Nozzles are all fine but I'm giving the technician a call tomorrow to try and find a solution. Are you still having trouble?

I tweaked the saturation settings a bit and it looks better now. Did you have this issue from beginning? What's the problem, more exactly? I might help. I had lots of issues with our 2007 Texjet so i learnt a lot

I'm not really sure when it started - I only noticed a couple of days ago... The colours are just printing much darker than they should on white and dark garments. My only guess is that the settings have been changed in the rip software? Where are you based?

I am in the US with a Melco G2 (same thing that I have gathered) and I am running into the same issue. Have you been able to fix this situation? If so, can you help me out?
