So I bought a heat press about 3 months ago and have been working away with my vinyl cutter getting stuff cut out for transfer but its just not transferring well at all. Some info below to help get a picture of what I'm dealing with:
100% cotton garments
pressure knob about 75% turnt
Please help I’m going crazy I bought the left over stock of a shop going under I got a bunch of A3 sub paper purchased from best blanks (out of business) and some printable vinyl the vinyl has a polyester feel to it. Stretches great holds ink amazingly doesn’t cut very good without fraying...
since screen printing and plastisol transfers print is softer than HTV would it be wise to use a 13x 13 screen print transfer on a light/medium shirt Or should that be for heavy 6 oz and up shirts/hoodies.
and whats the biggest print you would recommend on a light/medium shirt.
We are planning to print on black cotton tshirts. we have been thinking about htv or subli option on cotton.
do you have any experience with it? which one do you recommend more? Thank you for answers tho
I have a customer that wants 65 Carhartt Rain Defender pullover hoodies. I typically get my HTV from Stahls but have no clue which one will work. I've heard and lot of horror stories of vinyl and screen printing not lasting on these hoodies
