anding lines in photo

I have a photo in photoshop that I am trying to print. I enlarged the photo to 12*18. I first printed it out on a wf7720. There are lines running up and down (vertical). I was told the printer had a problem. I bought a wf7710. Put the ink that came with the printer. I tested the print. Same thing. vertical lines. It has to be with the print settings or photoshop. Please help. I can not figure it out.

that looks ok

i wonder if photoshop is not over-riding your settings somewhere,
or there is a layer within your image in photoshop that is causing this

try printing a colorful image from anything other than photoshop

It may be the algorithm Photoshop used to enlarge your picture. Try selecting a different algorithm or enlarge your picture outside of Photoshop using something like https://letsenhance.io

photoshop's native enlarger aint great, for desktop use i like these free image enlargers:
- reshade
- smilla
- a sharper scaling

Can you attach an image of the print with the banding?

well, that is progress
sounds like it is a settings issue

i know i get banding issues on epson desktop printer when the quality was set low,
but your epson settings are good

is this a single layer image, if not, try flattening before printing?

are you using an icc, and what are your color management settings settings?

have you tried printing from a non-adobe product yet?

like webtrekker said, post your image and others can print it and check it

- click 'Go Advanced' under the quick reply box under the last post in a thread
- scroll down a bit and click 'Manage Attachments'
- then add your image/files, click 'Upload' and click the 'Close this Window' in the upper right corner
