Question Spreadshirt CSS Question

I plan on linking to my spreadshirt shop as an iframe since i'm designing and building my own site.

Question is, how do I remove the header and nav from my spreadshirt site since I won't be needing it anymore.

thanks in advance

Eric

Have you checked out the spreadshirt forums? Seems to be a general consensus there that iframes are not a good way to go. A common statement from there is "about the only good use of iframes now is artistic expression and/or creative experimentation, but definitely not for selling something or promoting something you want a lot of people to find." The author was discussing the fact that search engines don't search iframe content.

In any event, you will probably get a more detailed answer to your question there: Forum - Powered by vBulletin

"Example Code for left, right, and top navigation"

If you have never signed up the their forum, you may need to do that first. As I recall, it requires a different signup than the one you used to open your shop.

Hello Spanishfly and Splathead,

You can login to the forum with your shop user name and password. You would not need alternative information, as only partners can login to our forum.

Although, to deactivate the Shop, Graphic, etc links, you would want to use the following code in your CSS.
#menu
{
display: none;
}

or you can remove just one, like the Shop Tab by the following code:
#menu li#menuItemShop
{
display: none;
}

TEMPLE! - Thank you so much man! ..er or woman. You don't know how long and hard i've been looking just to edit that.

And by chance, do you have the default shop.css code, I have seemed to have messed mine up and deleted it all.

thanks again!

Eric

Hi Spanishfly...it would be thanks woman,
shop.css has not code in it. It is a blank css where you can enter your changes. You can change styles and post to shop.css as much as you want and they will stay within this stylesheet. Color.css should only be edited at the bottom of the stylesheet, where it states End Spreadshirt styles. Structure.css is not editable, as this is where we would make any changes, for instance if there was a new release with a browser and we needed to place in some code for shop display issues, then we would add the code to structure.css and this would not affect your changes under shop.css.

Is this a banner or text you added to the shop? If so, then this would be under Shops > Settings. If not, then can you post a link to your shop?
