Question Getting the Designs on the shirts. design rejected by spreadshirt flex/flock process

Ok everyone.....

I need some serious help. . My idea is to have my chick logo with different personalities and different patterns with the chick. But I know nothing about designs. They are not turning our well on spreadshirt or the designs are being rejected. I am excited about the concept, but I feel like I am not getting anywhere....... I have all these ideas and I cannot get them on the shirts. Please Please I need help or advise.

Thanks so much,

Try to get a reason they are being rejected. I do r3emember another member here doing something similar. Possibly your designs are too close to another?

What about reducing colors (just enough to save some money yet not take away from the chicks) and having a local printer print them?

Hi Karen, are you uploading vector graphics to spreadshirt?

What reason did you get in your rejection email?

It could be that some of the lines in your graphics overlap.

The dark shirts at spreadshirt are printed with their flex or flock process.

This means that they aren't actually "printing" your designs on paper or on the t-shirts.

They are actually "cutting" solid color pieces of material (t-shirt vinyl film or flock) and pressing those images to the shirt.

It takes a bit of getting used to, but I think you just need to make sure your graphics are vector based with no overlapping lines.

There is a very good guide, created by 'amorphia', as how to make sure any designs submitted are OK to print on the Spreadshirt forum:

Of course no guide is fool proof but this is the most helpful one I've found so far.
