Hi Templeton, why dont you use DTG?

If you click on the design thumbnail, then you will see the RB in the lower right hand corner, but it is not huge or a bright pink. It is visible for the design thumbnail, but not really on the entire shirt image.

Also, I used this design because it would not be able to be removed from the background. The small front and side legs are too small and it is not real clear where they start and stop, since it is sort of fuzzy, so this would not be distinguished contour and would not meet 0.06 inch size requirement. If these legs were not there, then the design would be able to be removed from the background.

We are actually testing a new printing technique for our digital process. The new process is not completed, as we are still testing all apparel and different designs. When the new process is ready, then we would not have such issues with digital images.

If you need any beta-testers then let me know.

I dont really care if it's Digital Transfer or Digital Transfer Overlay.

All I want to do is be able to display my shirts in my shop without the white background around my image. I understand that Spreadshirt will remove the white or whatever background color i designate so that's not a problem.

So my questions is this, is it possible to show my designs in my shop on non-white t-shirts without the white background around them or do I need to find a vendor other than spreadshirt to be able to accomplish this.

you've got to eye drop the on screen color of spreadshirts products ie. shirt or hoodie and set the background of desired transparent space as that color. that way when viewed on screen its " invisible" but place a (R) in the image file so they know to take out the background. all this info is on spreadshirts faq's

Hello again Temple,
I just wanted to follow up on that new printing technique for the digital process that you spoke about. is it in place yet? Is it coming along soon?
Currently is the method for adding images to opaque/colored shirts and displaying them in a shop still the same where it's neccessary to add the (R) remove color notification?

Hi Powermoves,

The new process is not fully in place at this time, we are still testing different products, colors, and internal processes.

If you make the background color of the image the same color of the shirt, then you would need to add the R(color) to have the background removed, as long as all of the requirements for removing the background are met.

Thanks,
Temple
