Re: Ink pricing...outside of brother

Sewingmachine.com out of Atlanta is who I use. Closest to me in central Florida. Two day shipping and Jeff is great!

Re: Tips for MP users to be successful

The best way for me is to design with known RGB values from printed swatches. I always know exactly what my colors will look like. When creating high end conceptual art, I create with known RGB...

Re: Brother or new Epson SureColor F2000

I believe that the print was better, the cad link and NEO RIP's are great and as Randy pointed out, on some prints it may save on the ink. However, I just wanted to be clear on the "save 40%"...

Re: Brother or new Epson SureColor F2000

Randy, would you be willing to run a file through the Neorip for the 2000? I do not believe the 40% claim. I know the stock Epson RIP is using more cc's than the stock Brother RIP for the same...

Re: Brother or new Epson SureColor F2000

You should download Garment Creator from Epson. Fill in the ink costs, then RIP a design. Now run that design through your Brother print driver. You will be surprised at who wins the cost battle.

Re: Digital Factory

I have been playing around with it. Printed a half dozen or so test shirts. I really like the color profiles. Still playing with the settings, maybe if I slow down next week I can dig deeper into it.

Re: Brother GT-3 Series DTG

If you are waiting for a company to come along with a longer history, or better financial foundation than Brother, you better pull up a chair and order some food, because you're going to be waiting a...

Re: Color Prints on Dark Tees Easily Scratch Off

Mine are solid. They will scratch off with violent repetitive scratches, but I would hardly say easily.

Re: Is it possible to use non Brother ink in GT3?

The ink is more per cc, but uses far less cc's for the same print than epson based machines. I think you would be surprised at the actual cost per print. When comparing my 782 to my epson based DTG's...

Re: curing dtg shirts

I have never had an issue with fibers using a heat press to cure my Brother prints. I use only combed ringspun 100% shirts.

Re: Should I buy this DTG printer from China?

This X2!

Spend your 5k on marketing your product. I can guarantee you will make more money marketing your line and outsourcing, than buying a Chinese printer.

Re: brother gt-381

Considering the recent promotions of zero percent interest and 5000 trade in of a junk printer, they could be bought new for 20k on Brothers money for 5 years. Also consider they now come with a two...

Re: NeoRip 2000 vs Garment Creator on Epson DTG

As to ink cost, that is a slippery slope. You are trusting the RIP authors to be both accurate and HONEST in ink use. My motto is trust but verify by actually weighing carts or bags after a dozen+...

Re: NeoRip 2000 vs Garment Creator on Epson DTG

Actually, Jerid can you post a link to the image? I would like to print it myself on several machines with several RIP's and settings.

Re: NeoRip 2000 vs Garment Creator on Epson DTG

Thanks Jerid. I would like to see the same image. While this print looks great, there is nothing to compare it to. Peter can you get this image and print it with NeoRip?

Re: Discoloration around prints

Are you sure it's 100% cotton? This looks like some dye migration we sometimes see on poly blends.

Re: Pretreat issue or sprayer issue?

Run the design on one of your shirts, see what happens. Then run a solid block of white (I know expensive) on a gildan, see if the splotchy print has a hard edge everywhere. That will give you the...

Re: NeoRip 2000 vs Garment Creator on Epson DTG

Thanks again Dave - I have zero interest in attempting this myself. I hate doing it on vinyl with my Eye-one spectro. I will leave the shirts to you. I just always wondered why some RIP's just really...

Re: NeoRip 2000 vs Garment Creator on Epson DTG

I didn't think you were going to one up me, or anything. My point is it doesn't matter to the core of my question, and it didn't want the responses to break away from generic RIP analysis and overall...
