Re: Black T shirt advice

Hi Roland,
I am happy with results of 1,5 min curing (160 celsius degree). I can't see any difference when curing 3x30 sec. I tried it once because someone told me that will improve the washability...

Re: Black T shirt advice

Roland,
curing time depends on ink that you use. DuPont inks needs to be cured for 3 mins (dark) and 1,5 min (white) compared to Polyprint power inks: 1,5 min (dark) and 30 sec (white).

Re: New Sublimation Venture. Need advice please.

I think that in the case of sublimation more important than printer are inks itself. I bet that you're going to do it as a "hobby" (low volume production) so any EPSON printer will be ok. If you want...

RIP opportunities

Hi,

is it possible to print on this magic wonderful *ekhm* machines with some other RIP software?

Re: Dupont Polyprint And Polyprint Power Inks

They clog more, that's true. Especially black and yellow. Most of my heads died because of yellow then black is the most "popular" to clog.

Re: inconsistent Nozzle Check - whats the cause?

Re: inconsistent Nozzle Check - whats the cause?

Hello,

remember to keep ink levels as high as possible (1 cm below the max line) and at the same level for each cartridge. I noticed that printing this way is more consistent. Also agitating the...

Re: Texjet Rip v7 and Uk suppiers

Hi guys,

a quick question to those using RIP 7: Have you ever encountered such a problem?

Re: Preatreat and ink

Roland,

I don't know how about CMYK but I read a lot about people issues with IA white ink in Europe (people in the US are happy - different formula? different storage?). If you use IA...

Re: Weird color "shadow" appears next to print, have you encountered this problem?

Hi Erika,

I cannot see the picture but there are two things I assume:

1) dirty CR scale?
2) almost worn off head cables?

I don't know.

Have you tried to reinstall the RIP software?...

Check out the videos mentioned by Peter. This printer has bigger print carriage than a lot of toy-dtg-machines.

Making 1000 A3 impressions on black t-shirts will take me at least 40 days (8...

Re: Non-pressurized ink cartridge - No harm?

This machine needs to have a pressure to give a good flow of ink. On the left side of the printer you have a air pressure pump. It's there because of some reason.

Even the ink level in the...

Thanks for your input Kostas.

Yeah, some nozzles are misfiring, mainly on black and cyan. I always thought that it's not a problem. Some nozzles have a slightly different angle than others and few...

I don't know if there is even a possibilty to turn the printer on with such cartridges (probably you will get the error code that tells that there are no cartridges installed).

Even if...

Re: 100 Polyester Blanks for DTG Printing

Remember about the dye migration when printing on polyester. After curing a white print on red 50/50 poly/cotton material, you'll get the pink or reddish result.
