Bulk, Blank T-shirt Email Orders; Scam?

I semi-regulary recieve emails asking for a quote on 1000+ blank shirts with specific styles and colors they want, always drop-shipped and 'will pay in full'. I've never responded to them because...

I googled "t-lock platen kit" and got 3 websites including Brother, all offering what you need.

Re: Cannot get bright white

Try adjusting the amount of pretreatment. Typically the darker the fabric, the more pretreatment it takes.
Don't what brand of pretreatment you're using, but I'd start by using a little more of it....

Re: FIREBIRD inks - New print head and bad nozzle check

I don't think that the ink is an issue. Try changing the capping top. When my nozzle check is good on CMYK but not consistant/poor on white is a signal to change out the capping top on the capping...

Re: White outline around print (choke?)

To have a complete outline sounds like more of an artwork or art software issue. If it was a choke or feed issue you would have a white extending top or bottom, not both or left or right not both. If...

Re: Advice for ink on DIY DTG (DuPont v. Firebird)

Another ink option to check out is Image Armor E-Series ink, it's specially formulated for Epson print heads. Has worked well for me.

Re: Printing, sublimation, Questions!

Sublimation ink has a shelf-life (it should have an expiration date on it), I suggest purchasing new ink bad ink will ruin the print head. Mugs should still sublimate just fine. As far as your kids,...

Re: Sublimation T shirts not thin or sheer supplier

Try a Ring Spun 100% polyester, they look and feel more like cotton with all the properties of polyester.

Re: Why my dtg suck at printing light colors?

Ditto to Jess and Brandon, I also discovered to design in RGB, save to PNG (for truer colors) and pretreatment is essential for even white/light fabric.

Embroidery Blanks

I'm looking for an unbranded (or at least not wholesale pricing) catalog/website so that I have something to show customers. If they offered Cubbies, that would be a bonus. I currently use...

Re: FIREBIRD inks - New print head and bad nozzle check

Are you shaking or agitating your white cartridges at least daily? Most if not all white DTG inks are made with titanium oxide so they settle pretty quickly.

Re: Bad nozzle check and alignment issues-need help

I should mention that I have never had an issue with a specific color mis-aligning, so beyond a new encoder strip I may not be much help, sorry.

Re: Bad nozzle check and alignment issues-need help

I've got a 4880. The alignment issue is likely the encoder strip, if you've cleaned it and still misprinting - get a new one (they do go bad) - I always have an extra on hand.
Now onto the nozzle...

Re: Epson 1390 white ink issues

We previously used DuPont ink as that is the type supplied with the printer and probably the best option at the time.
I do recommend Epson E-Series ink. Been using it almost since it came on the...

Re: Epson XP 446 (CMYK) - Switch to DTG inks?

Don't know much about your printer, but there is an ink specifically for Epson print heads. Check out Image Armor E-Series (E for Epson) ink. It has good color vibrancy and we like it for our epson...

Re: Summit XT dtg 4880 epson printer

Believe it or not, try cleaning or replacing the encoder strip. Can't tell you how many times that simple action has helped me. The encoder strip is a very essential piece of plastic.

Re: I am a small print company looking to get into the embroidery market, but i have questions:

Well, new or used will probably depend on budget, a new single head machine with 12 to 15 needles will run about $7 - $8000. Shopping for a dependable used machine can always be a bit sketchy. I...

Re: What "budget" shirts yield best print results?

You could have several issues going on. Our shop quotes almost exclusively Gildan 2000 6oz (unless customer asks for something else) because they have more fibers for ink to attach. Dye migration...

Re: Should I invest in a DIY DTG printer?

Another option instead of going with DTG, is using a laser transfer printer. You can do the small quantities without worrying about the printer setting idle between uses. They are also capable of...

Looking for a wholesale, small quantity vinyl decal supplier.

I'm looking for a company that does small quantities (preferably as low as one piece) of window vinyl signage at wholesale pricing. Does anyone know of one?

I've looked at Stouse and Gill-Line....
