All direct to garment ink is water based. If you have a low humidity level in the space the printer is in the water in the ink can evaporate. Even a slight amount of evaporation can create issues...

Epson, for assorted marketing reasons, sells the same printer under different model designations in different regions around the world. The F2100 and the F2130 are the exact same printer.

I can tell you from our dealer point of view that we have sample shirts that we have washed over 100 times. The shirts themselves are getting ratty from all the washings but the prints still look...

Just be careful to check that the shirt fabric does not have an anti staining coating. Because dtg inks are water based it may create an adhesion problem and possible washability issues.
