Re: No nozzle check

Can a capping station be stored after being used?
I have a new spare capping station but if my current one turns out to still be good will it brick from sitting after having ink in it?

Re: No nozzle check

The fuse is not replaceable. It seems to be good, tested with an ohm meter.

Thanks for your help, the symptoms do sound like a blown F6 fuse.

No nozzle check

Perfect prints Saturday,
untouched Sunday,
Monday, no nozzle check.

During a cleaning it looks like all channels are spraying in the capping station.

Filling the capping station with...

Re: Ink Colors Mixing In Line

The wiper blade was new at the same time of the rest of the parts, had 11 prints on it, cleaned and dried every print day.

Since I started closing the in connection (ink levers up), it hasn't been...

Re: Ink Colors Mixing In Line

I'm sure it was at one point, the white ink lines have a slight colour tint to them. I saw the printer in use maybe 2 years before I bought it, using white ink.

I have flushed the lines pretty...

Re: Ink Colors Mixing In Line

Everything flushed and cleaned, unlocking the inks when not in use stopped this from happening overnight (sat for 2 or 3 days).

However, after about 8 prints I noticed the green start coming back.

Re: Ink Colors Mixing In Line

Thanks Matt,
I'll flush everything again.
I'll put the vent plugs back in the cleaning cartridges.
I'll close/disconnect the ink connection levers when the printer is not in use.

And I'll see...

Re: Ink Colors Mixing In Line

CMYK are sealed bags. Cleaning carts are bulk in LKLCLMLLK.

I have been leaving the levers [DOWN] (connected), should I close them every night?

(EDIT: I misspoke, I have been leaving the ink...

Ink Colors Mixing In Line

Hi,

I have a Flexi-Jet set up with CMYK+Flushing Solution.
My nozzle check showed 3 of my white/flushing channels were green, I looked and one of my W ink lines is full of green.

I flushed the...

Re: Fespa 2013 texjet plus

I'm not sure why you say daily printing is a must when the manufacturer says it can sit for 15 days without printing, without evacuating white ink, without special maintenance. And they warranty the...

Re: Expert 24 Doesn't Return To Origin

I'm not using GreatCut... should I? Maybe that's a different discussion.

There is no reset button, but pressing offline then online returns to origin.

Re: Expert 24 Doesn't Return To Origin

Where ever the last cut line is, it lifts the blade and stop right there. It then starts the next cut from this spot

Expert 24 Doesn't Return To Origin

Hi, I just got a used Expert 24.

Doing my first tests I notice the blade does not return home, to the origin point, when it finishes cutting. Is this a "feature" or a bug?

I'm cutting from...

Re: Looking for a cutter

I have never had a wheel slip on the PCut, and never had the wheels ruin the integrity of the vinyl. It sometimes leaves rubber tire tracks if the wheels aren't clean. That looks like 2 negatives for...

Re: Looking for a cutter

Thanks BeeM,
but does that mean if I load the GX-24 with 20" media will it only cut 18.9", or 12" media only cut 10.9"?

Looking for a cutter

After a problem with my cutter, I may be shopping for a new one.

I had a cheap PCut that was trouble free for 6 years.
Now I'm looking for something a bit higher quality, but not $3,000, I'd like...

PCut Issue After 6 Years

I have a PCut CT 760 that I bought in 2006, I think.

Tonight I went to cut a job, as usually, it scrolls to the starting point and stops, my cutting software also froze. I close the program, and...

Re: CAD-COLOR comparison

Thanks Nick.
I sometimes have to do performance wear, occasionally nylon, but always cotton. So I guess Express Print is best for me.

CAD-COLOR comparison

I'm considering trying CAD-COLOR. I'm not sure if there is one perfect print and cut material that does everything I want, so I'm trying to narrow it down to two. One for lights, one for darks.
