Update... I have been using IA ink for about 8 weeks now and loving it. It took us about 2 week and 30 shirts to dial in the process. About the same time it took us when we first started to use DTG...

Any feed back on two sided prints washability?

How does the washable get affected by heating the shirt several times for a front and back print?

1) 35 sec front cure
2) Then pre-treat back of...

Since we do a lot of two sided prints and the new INK likes less heat time.

How does the washable get affected by heating the shirt several times for a front and back print?

Photo #1 full AI look very even but a little light on the white. This could be a simple rip adjustment.

We print on Sanmar PC61 tees which are know by some as so called bad print shirts. We have good/great results with them. We manually spray then use a china bristle brush to finish the process. ...

Question in the IA ultra... is the window as wide as the original formula when pre-treating?

I ran into the pinholes with the Dupont ink when only printing white. I found it was my rip. It only lays down the white on the first pass. What I did was adjust my rip when printing only white. ...

Pre-treatment
Use only IA ULTRA for W+CMYK (IA inks)
Use IA light formula for CMYK


Curing Time Recap so far
330F - 356F for MAX of 35 seconds for CMYK
Then air...

So it sounds to me the real need in curing after the flash cure is the 24 hr no wash period. Can you pack the shirts away in plastic shirt bags ready to delivery or do you need to let the shirts...

Just got our inks today and will be flushing the lines this weekend. Any advice on the flushing? I too tried Firebird... I hate fushing.

Also can we address time on curing again in this 15 pager...

What is the resolutions set at? Most DTG are set to do 1400 x 1400 white and 1400 x 720 color for speed. If it is set to 1400 x 1400 then it will be slower and finer...

We learned to do it full strength but with Image Armor and had a great success rate once we get a good solid process down....Never thought about diluting..I personally do not like Dupont...

It did when we tried it... It might have changed with any formula change... The best results we have had is with image armor pretreatment and dupont inks. As far as fibrillation it is one part...
