Re: White won't print

Dave

We've found the 3880 seems to have slightly smaller orifices within the ink delivery system which will have a tendency to not allow the ink to flow as well. The print head is fine (IA Works...

Re: Image Armour?

Utero

It sounds like you are using the DARK and not the ULTRA. The ULTRA will work much better and not stain as much as the Col-Desi Dupont mix.... Give that a try....

Re: Image Armor ULTRA Dark Shirt Formula

No. It's the same as with any pretreatment. Ideally they should wash the shirt before wearing, but most people don't. Our PT's and Inks are CPSIA certified which means they are safe for kids age 12...

Re: P30i Inks/Pretreatment

That crystallization seems to tend to happen when the Stan gets stuck under the paper and the paper does not release easy. The steam then recon senses and voila! Magic white crap in blotchy areas.

Re: New Image Armor DTG ink

You can also education the temp slightly if you're just printing cmyk. Try a 330F setting to see if that helps you out.

Re: Neoflex 2

Sounds like you sucked something up into the spray head. If you have junk in the pt it will clog it. The VioerOne sprays incredibly consistent, but it has to be maintained. It is also...

Re: Pretreatment opinions (Firebirb vs IA)

Point being the Image Armor LIGHT is still like it was 2 years ago and still the same good stuff. This is why I ask from what distributor. Someone might be using our name, but putting something else...

Re: Pretreatment opinions (Firebirb vs IA)

No, there is not a new formula for the Image Armor LIGHT. Where did you get the PT from? What distributor. The IA Light has NOT changed since we released it.

Re: AI ink dripping from head

Just so everyone knows, this is NOT an issue with the Image Armor inks. And Peter it is not due to different viscosities or other variances. There is a known issue with the R3000 with Epson and ink...

Re: Faded lines while printing Cyan

I will have to check but this might also be an issue with the DX5 heads. I thought you had a newer printer...sorry about that. I know the same exact thing happens in those heads on pure cyan - even...

Re: Best dtg t shirts you use

I joke about the best printing shirt. It is like regular copy paper and photo glossy paper printed on the same printer. One will look great, the other just OK.

The tighter the weave, the higher...

Re: Ana Jet M5 vs Kornit Breeze Vs any other Printer

BigJolo

The best thing you can do is go to a trade show and see all the printers in action. Take along a graphic on a USB hub and have them all print your logo (do a black t-shirt and a white...

Re: Faded lines while printing Cyan

This is a general problem with the Epson DX7 print head. It is not specific to any brand of ink, but definitely because of the way the print head prints, and because of its speed, etc. Doeant matter...

Re: Is It possible to overpretreat but white ink still looks not bright enough?

Depending on where the shirts are made, which believe it or not the local water there can affect the garment also, and other things like softener so, etc, can really affect how the shirt accepts pt...

Re: New Image Armor DTG ink

I wouldn't go assuming and laying blame on Equipment Zone as they are a great distributor and work hard to ensure their customers are taken care of, just like all our distributors do.

As far as...

Re: New Image Armor DTG ink

Since doing an exhaustive amount of research on this subject, I figured we'd set the story straight since it seems everyone thinks they know what's going on.

In November of 2015 we became aware...

Re: What's the best Pretreatment?

To clarify for you, the DARK does not kick the white ink over fast enough.... which is why it is recommended to use the ULTRA for darks on the Epson F2000......

Re: AI inks and Ore treat Cure times

When hovering DO NOT put a sheet over the ink. Hover time will vary based on distance between heating element and ink. I like going to dry to the touch, a little longer, then heat press. The pressure...

Re: AI inks and Ore treat Cure times

Matt,

If you are curing at 35 seconds and 356F your ink will be cured and have great wash fastness. We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before washing the garment as the ink continues to cure...

Re: Epson R3000 Nozzle Checks

No, not the same thing. The cart can be cleaned on a regular basis as ink will build up in the bottom. The inside of the bag, not as easy for an end user.
