Re: in accurip a requirement in screen printing?

If you have a bad font you will get an exclamation ! instead of a '. The RIP goes to a numbered character look up for letters. This is a bad font not a RIP issue. Sounds like the Program generating...

Re: Double layer

I use paper towels like Bounty. I soak them in Windex or cleaning solution and damb the surface of the print head. I DO NOT RUN BACK AND FORTH. You must not scratch it. DO not do this if it looks...

Re: Double layer

I really do not think that is a corrupt file.
Nozzles are aimed in a different direction.
I have seen this with a failing print head, dirty or clogged nozzles or ink dried on the printhead.
Also...

Re: Double layer

Check the height. If the ehight is too far this can happen
Some of the nozzles could be partially clogged causing them to eject in a off direction.
The head might be starting to fail.

Hello Kostas,

I missed Texjet in the first paragraph, I always think of you guys as PolyPrint. But I know the RIP you use and we are all about the same in these basic steps. I do not think that...

Re: Epson1400 can i disable color cartridges?

I am glad we both agree that the all black ink approach is over kill most of the time and EPSON inks are very good for the purpose. And you and I both agree that adding yellow as a second color is...

Re: Help ! printing on dark y-shirts

Well a lot of what I am going to tell you depends on the RIP you are using.
There are RIPS from iProofSystems the PowerRIP DTG and Kothari's Print Pro and the EK RIP. This group of three built...

Re: Epson1400 can i disable color cartridges?

I disagree, If you print from 1 channel or 6 channels the film reaches a point where it does not need any more ink. Often this can be done at 1440x1440 with one ink channel and sometimes at 1440x720...

Re: Film Positive Printer Suggestions?

PowerRIP ScreenPrint and AccuRIP both drive the 1430. Most PowerRIP users get by with just the Epson brand of inks, but both RIPs support all black. You can buy Epson ink for a 1430 at any office...

Re: Help ! printing on dark y-shirts

1) Make sure the printer is printing from all nozzles properly. If white ink sits for awhile the pigment setles out and it is not as opaque.
2) Pretreat properly thick enough bake for 60 to 90...

Re: Epson 1430 - Colors are wrong - ICC profile? - Dupont/EZ Fast

Re: Epson 1430 - Colors are wrong - ICC profile? - Dupont/EZ Fast

If you are not using a RIP, like PowerRIP DTG, or EK RIP, or AcroRIP you must be using the Epson driver. Ok the Epson driver expects Light cyan and Light magenta and has no provisions for White ink....
