Re: White ink smearing

Hi,

The head is to close to the shirt, check the box shirt plate is not bowed towards the centre. Also from memory you have a platen gap setting in printer properties in the rip queue for each...

Re: Choosing the right ink set configuration in Texjet Rip Software for Resolute Ink Premium

Hi Tony,

To the best of my knowledge the DuPont profile is best one to use. When you say the print is to dark do you mean in comparison to a previous print of the same artwork?

Have you printed...

Re: Kodak DTG ink

Hi,

I am not sure the particle size will help you in anyway. What I can say is, Resolute Premium, the version made by Resolute in the U.K. is filtered down to .5 micron which is finer than most...

Re: heavy head clean not clearig white ink lines?

Hi Shimon,

Apologies as in my last reply autocorrect changed your name and I didn’t notice.

White lines will rarely fully clear on this type of printer. The ink bays, lines and dampers are all...

Re: Shaken and not stirred

Hi,

You should turn the white carts over and back 50 times at the start of each day before printing. Shaking them vigorously will gas the ink up and cause printing problems.

The colours should...

Re: RIP sofrware Queues and Optimal graphics

Shimonoseki has found this setting and confirmed it was not setup correctly.

I believe you have a different model of printer so assume you are referring to the different queues.

Any graphics...

Re: Pretreatment timing

Hi,

We used to sell the RTP brand which are very good. For reasons beyond our control the price to import shot through the roof making them close to £4.50 a shirt which is not commercially viable...

Re: 100% Nozzle check then print decline to nothing!

Hi,

That does sound like the head was brushing the shirt, a bit more than just fibres. The best way to check is load an un pre treated shirt and feed the box in. Set the printer as if you were...

Re: Rjet 5i new print head required

Hello Amy,

Most of the 17” print bar remodelled Epson based printers use the P800 print engine. We have no choice but to send the head back which is a pain, but you can buy a P800 and remove the...

Re: R Jet 5i error code: 0x122C

The metal strip should be about 1mm but can touch. It must not rest on the sensors or that lifts the box and makes it slip. You can buy the tape here...

Re: Service 0001001B new head installed

Hopefully this will do it, make sure when you fit them you get the folds in the right order into the interconnect board on the front of the printer. If not they will not sit neatly in the clips.

Re: R Jet 5i error code: 0x122C

Make sure the grip tape is ok on the underside of the frame, it should feel like sand paper. Also make sure the bottom of the box is not dragging on the bed sensors, the frame can need adjusting if...

Re: Service 0001001B new head installed

That error is the thermistor in the head reporting it’s overheated, starvation or air in the system can cause this or a rouge connection or worn out head cables.

Hope this helps.

Re: R Jet 5i error code: 0x122C

Two things can do this, box slip or you have no offset selected between the underbase and CMYK layer. This is normally 1.5 from memory but it’s a while since I set one up.

Re: White ink cracking

If you are getting cracking this is normally due to, to much pre treatment, you should not hover cure, this is only to start the ink drying before closing the heat press under light pressure.

If...

Re: Perfect nozzle check after power clean but fading white after 2-3 prints??

It sounds like you are brushing the head against fibres. When you load the shirt into the print position bend down and look through the printer and watch the head travel from left to right....

It is...
